Acquisitions & Real Estate
Whether you are buying out a retiring partner, purchasing a franchise, or acquiring an owner-occupied commercial building, SBA provides the highest leverage available.

Capital For Every Major Milestone
Because the federal government guarantees up to 85% of the loan amount to the lender, they are willing to fund a massive variety of business needs that standard banks would consider too risky.
Debt Consolidation
Eliminate daily or weekly payments from merchant cash advances or high-interest term loans. Roll them into a 10-year monthly payment and instantly increase your cash flow.
Business Acquisition
Buy out a retiring competitor, acquire a new franchise location, or execute a partner buyout. The 7(a) requires just a 10% equity injection from the buyer.
Long-Term Working Capital
Most banks only offer 1-3 years for working capital. The SBA 7(a) allows you to stretch working capital repayment over 10 years, drastically lowering the monthly burden.
Commercial Real Estate
Purchase an owner-occupied building, expand your facility, or do ground-up construction. Enjoy 25-year repayment terms with no balloon payments.

SBA Loan FAQs
Executive answers for business owners seeking federal backing.
Does the SBA lend the money directly?
No. The Small Business Administration does not lend money directly to business owners (except for specific disaster loans). Instead, they provide a guarantee (up to 85%) to approved banks and lenders. This guarantee reduces the lender's risk, allowing them to offer you better rates and longer terms.
What are the collateral requirements?
The SBA requires lenders to take available business assets as collateral. However, if business assets fall short of the loan amount, the SBA will not decline the loan based purely on a collateral shortfall. They may ask for a lien on personal real estate to secure the remaining guarantee, but it depends on the specific deal size and risk profile.
How long does the SBA loan process take?
Because of the heavy documentation and underwriting requirements, a standard SBA 7(a) loan typically takes 45 to 90 days from the initial application to the final funding. If you need capital faster, the SBA Express program can sometimes fund within 30 days. It is not a quick-cash product, but the massive savings and long terms are worth the wait.
