Understanding ESG Scores (0-100 Scale)
ESG scores are used to rate a company's performance on environmental, social, and governance factors. Higher scores generally indicate better performance.
- 0-20: Poor/Laggard. Significant ESG risks, poor management practices, or controversial activities.
- 21-40: Weak/Below Average. Some ESG risks, inconsistent management, or moderate controversies.

- 81-100: Excellent/Leader. Industry-leading ESG performance, strong commitment, and innovation.
E (Environmental): Climate change, resource scarcity, pollution, biodiversity, energy efficiency.
S (Social): Labor practices, human rights, community relations, product safety, data privacy, customer satisfaction.
G (Governance): Board diversity, executive compensation, business ethics, shareholder rights, transparency.
