Methodology Note

This tool performs a simplified sentiment analysis based on keyword spotting. Here's how it generally works:

• The input text is processed to identify pre-defined lists of positive and negative financial and business-related keywords.
• Each identified positive keyword contributes positively to a net sentiment score, while each negative keyword contributes negatively.
• The overall sentiment category is determined from this net score.
• This analyzer does not employ advanced Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques such as understanding complex sentence structures, sarcasm, context, or nuanced expressions.
